Having worked in kitchens since the age of 13, Michael completed his professional training in southern Ireland at Ballymaloe Cookery School, at age 18. From there, Michael went onto live & work in London, New York, San Francisco & Paris, for the next 8 years.
In 2015, Michael opened Motte & Bailey Cafe in Arundel. After catering for several one-off weddings & events and increasing customer demand, Michael established Blackmill Catering in 2018.
Having worked in a wide range of locations & cuisines, Michael is dedicated to crafting menus catered to the individual.
